Tile Cities breaks city building down to its very basics making it more of a simple puzzle. Compose nice-looking city maps of randomly generated city blocks (tiles), match colored buildings and parks to meet demand, connect tram lines with depots to get bonuses. Creative mode with no limitations is also available. In this mode you can regenerate random tile until you get the one you like.

planning and placement puzzle, probably 3-10 hours of good vibes depending on how you like it. charming -- i love the stripped down design, which is effective, and the mechanic is really neat. you can change the color scheme or use your own colors . . . try switching up the background to highlight the empty spaces in your city.

Chase a high score by building a city tile by tile and fulfilling the needs of its population. Plays a bit like a roll and write in that the decision making is about deciding how to use the one thing you've been allowed each turn. Not too challenging, but engaging enough given the simplicity of the gameplay.
