This DLC is almost perfect for Tomoyo fans (like me), and I highly recommend it.

If you like Tomoyo from the original visual novel and have played her route, you should absolutely try this out.

Negatives:
The only mild complaint I'd have is that the ending could have been arranged a lot better to have a stronger impact; they kind of decided to just tell you the ending through text for the most part rather than actually letting it play out like the rest of the game, which ruined the impact that this story deserved for its ending. This is a minor complaint, though. The only major downside I had about this game that significantly hindered the experience was the different voice actress from the original Clannad. This is because this visual novel was voiced before the original Clannad (as I've just been told in the comments). I personally didn't like it enough to continue my playthrough with it on. I decided in the prologue at the end to just mute Tomoyo in the settings and use my imagination that it's still Houko Kuwashima, which worked fine for me.

Positives:
I won't go into any details for the story, as I don't want anyone interested in this to see spoilers beforehand, as it would greatly hinder your experience. Every arc in this visual novel is gripping and emotional, backed by a lovable cast. It easily won my heart for one of my favourite stories.

While I may sound very negative with what I said before, this is probably my favourite visual novel (although I'm likely biassed because I love Tomoyo). No one else's opinion on this VN can take away the good it did for me.

Tomoyo may have possibly defined my taste in anime characters
