TORMENTUM is a dark Point & Click adventure game. The dreamlike, nightmarish atmosphere of the game was inspired by works of painters H.R. Giger and Zdzislaw Beksinski. The game's final look and feel was also strongly influenced by the universes of games such as Demon's Souls or Dark Seed. This unique mixture gave life to a bleak and depressing world. Love the art in this game, it definitely lives up to the promise of its Beksinski/Giger influences. The writing isn't quite as strong unfortunately, but it doesn't get in the way too much. The puzzles feel like they're in the sweet spot for adventure game puzzles, engaging enough that you're not bored, but not too much of a roadblock to seeing the next piece of cool art. Solid adventure game over all.
The puzzles are fun, varied and all of the minigame sort.
Soundtrack is top notch, giving you chills even being fully conscious that, after all, you are playing a point and click adventure game.
The plot gives you polarity choices treating good and evil in a very serious and mature manner and there are multiple endings.
Another example of how having the word "torment" inside your game title is a guaranteed success.
