Transformers: Cybertron Adventures features separate campaigns for the Autobots and Decepticons, but instead of being a third person shooter like War for Cybertron, this game is a rail shooter, utilizing a gameplay similar to Time Crisis series. Players must defeat a group of enemies in one area from a cover point. After all enemies are defeated, the character will move along a pre-defined path to another area, and so on. Occasionally during gameplay the character will transform into vehicle, and the player must control them to reach one point, destroying obstacles on the way. Offline co-op is also featured. The game delivers only 6 levels and a couple challenges.

Transformers: Cybertron Adventures is a simple on-rails shooter set in the War for Cybertron universe. It offers a brief campaign for both the Autobots and Decepticons, letting players blast through swarms of enemies in a variety of locations. While the core gameplay of shooting and transforming can be momentarily satisfying, the experience is hampered by repetitive level design, bland visuals, and a lack of depth. While it might entertain younger Transformers fans for a short while, the game ultimately feels underdeveloped and unfulfilling.

Played this game as a kid cause i was hyped for War For Cybertron. Was super disappointed i couldn't transform at will and was the reason i got an Xbox 360
