Despite the fact that important names associated with the Japanese-based RPG genre were involved in this project, Trinity Trigger turns out to be an overly simple title with its wings clipped by its lack of ambition. This is not to say that it is a poorly made game or lacking in all respects, but only that it should be well channeled and identified for what it is: a good exponent of real-time jrpg with a very low level of challenge and a shoestring budget that does not allow it to stand out. Nevertheless, it turns out to be far more worthy than other more high-profile titles that have disappointed so many expectations.
