The puzzle Kombat/10, also UMK3 is there on DS so that's a plus

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was the first MK I've ever played. And as well I love it, at the same time; I hate it.

This game had everything to be the best MK portable at the moment, in first place we have the fact that this game keeps the graphics, the gameplay and the roster as the original versions (just excluding Rain and Noob Saibot). The gameplay feels nice at the beginning, and also, Puzzle Kombat was a great addition.

But now, the game have the same problem that UMK3 in arcade had, the difficult IA. This game was a coin eater, they forgot to make Shao Kahn less impossible, even Motaro at one point is able to being defeat. If you do not use TAS or emulator cheats it's really probably that you'll never defeat Shao.

It's a good game, but gets frustrating because it's actually unfair.

Puzzle Kombat carries. It's a good port of UMK3 with Puzzle Kombat. It's a great package and it's easier to lewrn moves as you don't have to look up special moves and fatalities as they are all listed on the other screen.

This rating is for Puzzle Kombat. Ultimate Mid Kombat 3 is 1.5 stars.
