I would actually grind this game if it had functional rollback.

such a crazy fucking experience. with the right friends this is an amazing late night activity. this game oozes playful creativity, and it manifests in tight but not too serious characters and movesets and absolutely belligerent audiovisual design.

As a longtime fine of wacky bullshit and a new fan of fighting games, Ultra Fight Da Kyanta 2 seemed right up my alley. And it was! But not just that, I think this is a genuinely good game, despite looking like a serial killer's first attempt at using microsoft paint.
The characters are so fun and goofy, but also unique. There is a lot here that so far as I know hasn't been in any other fighting game (again, I'm new to them) and much of it has some real potential, which is demonstrated in Da Kyanta 2. I'd love to see this many new ideas in more games in general, let alone fighting games. Although, with all the insane stuff in this game, there are of course going to be some drawbacks, such as the balance. Believe it or not, the insane game filled with wild shit has insane and wild balance, with many characters being able to pull of some downright despicable stuff (Will it Kill, anyone?) although if you ask me, that only adds to the experience.
The visuals have to be mentioned, and although some may view them as an affront to all that is good, I quite like them. The style is absurd, and Da Kyanta 2 embraces it fully, leading to a ton of funny, goofy looking sprites and artwork. On top of that, the sound design is just as surreal, furthering the absurdity of it all. The soundtrack is... actually solid, not groundbreaking or anything but a lot better than you'd expect, and the best of the ost goes pretty damn hard.
If I'm not mistaken, this game actually has a fairly high skill ceiling-not that I would no-and has a small but dedicated community. Also rollback, which alone will probably sell this game to some people. Not that you have to sell it though, because Ultra Fight Da Kyanta 2 is...
Free! For the low price of $0 this is a steal and a half! In addition, this is still an early access title that receives regular support from its developer, Haramaself, so expect it to get even better with time. Anyone with the time and ability to do so should at the very least try out this game and mess around in it, the experience will be at the absolute bare minimum be memorable, and likely much more.
All that said, this game has all-timer potential for those who'll like it, and is a definite fun time to be had.

However, do not play the story mode, worst mistake of my life :(
You have been warned.
