I'm not a huge fan of point n click games but it's been so long since i've played one that I was kind of in the mood for one. Saw this on the playstation store and always thought it looked interesting. Had a notification it was on sale so i picked it up. It didn't really change my mind about the genre but I enjoyed my short time with it. I don't think it's necessarily good point n click game but I liked what they were going for and the graphics. I appreciated that it was fully voiced as well. I think it was a good premise but none of the jokes landed for me and the story was extremely basic. No real character growth at all. It's a hard title for me to recommened but at worst it's inoffensive. This game just reitorates my past feelings that i just don't like this genere of game.
A love letter to the '80s and shows/movies like Stranger Things or It, and, basically, to gaming in general. It's not long, not even very difficult (especially for point 'n' click veterans), but it's cute and fun, and you shouldn't miss it if you like retro-style games. There's even some replay value with the different endings and some slight changes in the walkthrough depending on your choices.
Unusual Findings is an unmissable title for 80's nostalgics and lovers of point and click graphic adventures.
The pixel art graphics, the colors, the music, the dialogues and the many references (posters, action figures, etcc) that you will meet in-game will make you go back in memory to those wonderful and pioneering years.
The puzzles are challenging enough, effectively increasing the longevity of the title.
