Senjou no Valkyria 3: Unrecorded Chronicles, usually referred to as Valkyria Chronicles III, is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Sega for the PlayStation Portable. It is the third game in the Valkyria Chronicles series and was released on January 27, 2011 exclusively in Japan. An expanded version of the game, subtitled Extra Edition was released in Japan on November 23, 2011. The game features an opening song Moshimo Kimi ga Negau no Nara sung by Japanese singer May'n. Occurring in the same time frame as the first game, Valkyria Chronicles III is a side story that follows the exploits of an unwanted and castigated Gallian Army squad during the Imperial invasion of 1935. Contrasting the previous games' bright outlook and recognition for their protagonists, Valkyria Chronicles III explores the themes of being outcast and the search for redemption. As described by its catchphrase, the game tells "The tale of nameless soldiers who, on the verge of despair, changed history." The game was the first in the series to not officially be translated into English by Sega. However, an unofficial fan translation for the Extra Edition was eventually released in December 2013.

Story Complete with S Rank on all missions, 25/25 Medals obtained, All Ace weapons and Blueprints obtained.

個性的なキャラクターたちと共に進む物語で、最後までたどり着けば部隊の全員を好きになっている。素晴らしいゲーム。

Hacked my psp to play a fan translation of this and it was definitely worth it. This game has to be one of the most content rich packages on the PSP right up there with Dissidia Final Fantasy. The story and characters are a vast improvement from VC2 with even more gameplay refinements. Honestly to me it's the complete package for a portable game. More of everything that was good from the last one and fixes all the kinks and problems too. Really dug the story and the cutscenes. Easily a top contender for best PSP game. It's a damn shame so many people didn't get to play this game outside of Japan. I'd kill for a real localization and port.

I love the story concept but PSP Valkyria just doesn't work for me. Still better than VC2 by a long shot.

Huge improvement from the older games gameplay-wise. Super good characters and plot. Stages are really simple but still fun. OP is by May'n. Imca best.
