Wasteland 2 is like a hardcore Fallout on steroids. The post-apocalyptic world is brutal and unforgiving, forcing you to make tough decisions with lasting consequences. The turn-based combat is great, customization is super deep, and the writing is fantastic. It's definitely not for everyone – the difficulty spikes are crazy, and it can be pretty buggy even now. But if you love classic CRPGs and don't mind a brutal challenge, Wasteland 2 is a rewarding and bleakly satisfying experience.
I spent a good 5 hours in character customization alone: planning builds, writing backstories, and even creating portraits. The humor, the combat, everything else about this game kicks ass.
