I’ll be honest, I looked up the last 7 puzzles on YouTube and consider it done this way (there are 50+ puzzles). The gameplay mechanics are brilliant and the game can be very atmospheric. But the rest around it is lacklustre. Firstly, the game has a ‘story’ in a made up language without subtitles and you’re supposed figure it out. It was very hard to follow, you see it after every puzzle, you can’t skip it and I’m not sure what the ending means. The ending left me disappointed. Although the gameplay is a strength, it has issues figuring depths which is pretty much a must with the kind of game it is. You often have to measure the length of objects in order to cross an area and it’s often difficult to tell when objects are too high or too low. A tile system or camera option would have been most welcome. The game’s sound mix is off, the soundtrack is very low compared to the rest. The hint system is weird and annoying. It’s very slow to use. And again, even though the gameplay idea is good, not much was added to keep it fresh. So I felt like I was wasting my time and really wanted to be done with it. Maybe I wasn’t in the mood for this kind of game and therefore more harsh than I should, but it’s still not really worth playing imo. I don’t feel I got something out of it.

The story is total nonsense, but the puzzle mechanic is suprisingly strong and easily makes up for it.
