Wipeout: Create & Crash brings the zany obstacle courses of the Wipeout TV show to your Wii U. It boasts a fun course creator where you can design your own challenges and let friends unleash their inner klutz. The core gameplay, however, is simplistic and the controls can be frustratingly imprecise, leading to more irritation than laughs. Wipeout: Create & Crash offers some fleeting amusement with its quirky style, but the shallow gameplay and technical issues quickly take the shine off the experience.

In the grand tapestry of gaming experiences, some stories stand out for their profound transformation. Take ScreenGAME, for example, who went on a journey of self-discovery that led to an unexpected but delightful destination - Wipeout Create & Crash.

You see, ScreenGAME was once hopelessly infatuated with a game that was essentially a letdown in his eyes, and the veil of his obsession was finally lifted. The process of cleansing himself from the shackles of a less-than-stellar game involved taking his physical copy of the aforementioned title and scrubbing it clean. Out with the old, in with the new, and that new was Wipeout Create & Crash.

ScreenGAME's revelation, a testament to the power of open-mindedness, had brought him to this game. Wipeout Create & Crash was a fantastic choice, considering ScreenGAME's newfound appreciation for quality gaming.

This game took the best of the Wipeout series and let players concoct their own wicked, challenging courses. A healthy dose of laughter was guaranteed as your custom-built racetracks put your friends' skills to the test. Watching them wipe out in glorious, hilarious fashion was one of the game's genuine pleasures.

With a creative twist, Wipeout Create & Crash was like a breath of fresh air for ScreenGAME. It showed him that gaming was about more than clinging to a single mediocre title. His score for Wipeout Create & Crash, a solid 9/10, was not only a reflection of the game's fun factor but also of the freedom it had given him to explore a world of exciting and enjoyable gaming experiences beyond his previous, blinkered perspective.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one, of course Wipeout has potential as a video game already, and this one's not bad. It is obviously very cheap, probably had a budget of $5, but they kinda made the most of it. The only places where the game is clearly cheap is in the models, animations, and content.
The controls work fine, at least on Wii, and the level themes are very fun and the level designs themselves are good enough. If you are just the biggest fan of Wipeout, then this isn't a bad evening.
The problems with the game come in it's content mostly, the levels are good, but there aren't very many of them, and you can beat the game in under 2 hours. This game suffers from cheap animation and a lack of content.
Now the oddly best part about this game is the dialogue. It is not good, god no. But the dialogue in this game is so bad it's good, and makes for a hilarious time, just not in the way the creators expected probably, same goes for the animations, I genuinely want you to play this just to see the goofy ahh swimming animation.
Oh yeah, and the OST is weirdly great as in "I would unironically listen to this" great. They went way harder on the music than they needed to.

I mean, it was fun to play......

This game is so shit on the 3DS its fucking funny lmao

The create mode is bullshit
