I've played CDLC more times than I can count since it released, and I still love it. My one criticism is that the 'twist' shifts the genre a little too abruptly and can feel out of place - it takes the game from a slice-of-life aristocratic school simulator to a kidnapping mystery with some cartoonishly villainous antagonists - but it's still an excellent game with likable characters and an equally likable setting.

This choose your own adventure type game is the definition of cozy. At a brisk pace of 4 hours you can finish it in a sitting if you like(with a good chance of wanting to replay the story for different branch paths).

Best way to play it is cozying up next to a loved one next to the fire in some blankets. Definition of “Cozy” Genre

Well made Choice of game. I tend to enjoy the ones with lower stakes more than the ones where you have to save the world, and this one is about as low stakes as it gets. Fun!

One of the best games choice of games has to offer.
