Horace Sweep.

My Dad had this game when he was a kid and used to talk about it a lot, especially it's diffculty. I got to play it at a convention in 2022. (I supposed I "borrowed" the ZX Spectrum they had out for several minutes, which is why I'm logging it here. Although mainly I just want to spread the word of peak British gaming mascot Horace.)

It is rather difficult, but I did manage to cross the road and get down the slope after a few attempts (after which the game loops). Not as difficult as my Dad made out, but I guess having grew up on games it's not as hard as it was for him as a kid in the 80s.

1982? God where does the time go. When this is one of the few measly games you own you play it to death. Only two screens, a frogger clone and a downhill slalom skiing section, there's little to this beyond that and the horrid screeching of poor Horace as he gets squashed by a truck for the millionth time.

You have to play a lame Frogger clone prior to getting to play a basic downhill ski course. There's an attempt at a 3D downhill view here, but it barely translates.
