Saikoroshi is a masterpiece

Rei is a collection of three bonus stories. The first one is great but I gave up on the other two, especially the second which is a "goofy comedy" about a child falling in love with an adult (visual novels stop using pedophilia for comedy challenge (IMPOSSIBLE))

first arc was good, second was at least funny, third was insufferable but i liked the part where the old guys fell from the ceiling

Saikoroshi-hen is a fantastic epilogue and ending to Higurashi.
Batsukoishi and Hirukowashi-hen on the other hand are dreadful.

Saikoroshi Made Me Think and is also a nice bridge to Umineko. The other two arcs were pretty light-hearted and fun (well, the entire first half of Batsukoishi can go but the latter half was more amusing).

Saikoroshi is a nice conclusion for Rika. The rest is...disgraceful.

Saikoroshi has one of my favourite character conclusion ever.
