The core gameplay is really good and the story mode ain't bad either. I think this is the best mario sports on switch and a formidable entry in the tennis series.

the only game i've ever impulse bought and I regret it

O MUNDO FOI MUITO INJUSTO COM VOCÊ

i wish the costumes weren't seasonal

It's a pretty good game, but pretty forgettable. I actually really like the courts and the characters in this game, and the story mode is pretty good, too, but it's hard to write a long review when this game really doesn't do anything special.

ahhhhhh the evil racket Uwwwogghhhhh

Mario Tennis just is not for me, I am sorry.

The campaign has a bizarre lack of tennis and instead focuses on target practice (sometimes disguised as boss battles, sometimes not). Might bump up the score after some local multiplayer this Christmas but this was atrocious as a single player experience.

I waited so long for this and it delivered and I played it for 2 hours and never touched it again.

I didn't think they'd add a story mode to a tennis game and make it good. They did. I got bored of it though, there's only so much singleplayer tennis you can do

yeah this kinda sucks the actual gameplay is fun but THATS IT and the singleplayer is uninteresting

My favorite fighting game (just dont buy this for 60 bucks)

This is literally Ultra Smash if they decided to not rush it out in 5 seconds and put an ounce of effort into it

Skimpy on content but a tactically rich tennis experience nonetheless. While the campaign mode was a huge letdown, the core tennis gameplay was awesome to play with, and the mechanic depth created dramatic volleys that made me feel like I was in a Nintendo commercial. I hope that we’ll get a true successor to the GBA Mario Tennis titles in the future, as the campaigns were seriously good RPGs. Either way, this is a great competitive alternative to Smash Bros if you don’t care for the fighter series.

played during a game trial; it's fine, but i have no desire to actually pay money for it

7/10. The story is small and uses difficulty spikes to extend itself.

The Switch's entry in the tennis spin-off series, which has almost always been solid and this is no exception. Features an absolute who's-who of playable Mario characters (many released as post-game DLC) and an excellent, competitive multi-player mode. Story mode sucks, though.

Had more fun with the weekend open beta than the full game

Man I don't like tennis besides Wii sports Tennis but I can play as Boo in this game so that's a W from me.

Bastante aburrido y mucho peor en todo que antiguos Mario Tennis

Could it be... Virch didn't hate a sports game?
I normally am not a fan of sports games, and for years, Mario Tennis Aces was one of the reasons I would give. When I initially tried to play this, it was absolutely dreadful, but then I gave it another shot, and it was fine?
I just played through the adventure mode, and I don't really know why this is what people were most disappointed with in this game, it was pretty good. The mechanics were fine, and the difficulty was insane for someone like me, who is awful at sports games, but I was still able to do it.
I don't know, what else do you want from me? I had a good time with the adventure mode, which is a miracle since I despise sports games.

Still not the best tennis game but this one is more fun

The main menu music goes so hard
