This was the last MLB: The Show game that I "bought" (other ones were through PS Plus/Game Pass), and it was fun but very same-y. This was the first time I thought MLB felt like "just another sports game," and I think that's what made me drift away. That and me actually trying to beat more games took a lot of time away from this. Still had fun with it, especially with it (I think?) being the first in the series to introduce Directional Hitting.
