Somethings better than Ruby, some worse.

I played so much of this. I got all the legendary pokemon available, and most of the regional dex. I don't know if it's just me, but I liked the story and evil organization

The girls in this game are so hot it's unreal

Como o Ruby é meu jogo favorito da franquia e esse remake foi incrivelmente bom, não tenho nada do que reclamar, jogasso.

it's fun but i remember sun being a lot more enjoyable

A steep downgrade to Ruby and Sapphire. While it does contain the refinements of newer generations and ways to amend the tedium present in the GBA games, it is lacking notable amounts of content and the difficulty has largely taken a nose dive, making the game feel brainless from the fourth Gym badge onwards.

My proudest moment was when I beat the elite four + champion using only my lvl. 88 Mightyena named Zack Fair
You were the best and I'll never forget you ;_;

EZ solid pokemon game, near infinite playability for me personally through enjoyment alone. If you haven't already, definitely buy.

Totally my favorite pokemon game ever, I love this game

Amazing but i wish it had the customization from X and Y

Definitely the weakest of the remakes so far. Everything good about the originals applies here and it updates the mechanics to gen 6 standards which really smooths things out. My main problem is that it doesn't feel like it adds much to Hoenn, the updated Mauville city and the Delta Episode are neat, but it doesn't add enough flavor to most of the areas to make it feel like you're experiencing the region all over again like HG/SS did. The lack of Emerald's battle frontier is also a huge disappointment. One thing that this game did really well is that the new mega evolutions are a lot of fun to use, but for the most part they're only really relevant for competitive battles. It's a better experience than the originals, but it doesn't add much to them outside of 3d graphics and updated mechanics.

This game is super underrated. It's worse than emerald because of the battle frontier, but everything else about this game is built with such love that this game can't be anything under 4 stars in my eyes.

I got this long after the remakes were released. I had grown out of pokemon by the end of SoulSilver and only came back into Pokemon in the summer of 2018. I got this game with a 2DS to go with it at a local game shop. I was interested to see how this remake would fare with the previous remakes of SoulSilver & FireRed/LeafGreen (I played both versions) and......it didn't.

While this game introduced to me to a whole new style of presentation, this game was too easy for me to enjoy it. It was very odd seeing Latios getting gifted to me after the fourth gym in this game. The flyover effect in the game is cool but its only cool for so long. Once I had that Latios in my possession, I just felt like the game wasn't any struggle afterwards. The only difficult battles I had were the ones online against other people. Also I am indifferent about Mega Evolutions. They are cool and all but it just seems like a way to rehash old pokemon into relevancy once again.

Its a good game but that's all it will ever be to me.

Could have been my favourite Pokemon game, but they decided that Primal Legendaries would be better than the Battle Frontier. Sad.
Mega-starters and Mega-Latios rock nonetheless.

pretty good, didnt change much from the OG tho

One of the best Pokemon games out there. The Hoenn region is delightful; and this gen's Pokemon is overall very solid. The remake of the polish too obviously shines and makes the entire experience and even greater experience

This is just not the same as Emerald. Sure there's more Pokemon as well as Mega Evolutions and the Physical/Special split that wasn't present in Emerald, but the game itself became somewhat easier... There's also the removal of the Battle Frontier and the Battle Maison to replace it. Not a much welcomed change, so overall I'd consider this a downgrade from Emerald.

It's great it just doesn't have as many good pokemon as Alpha Sapphire.

Not my favorite of the remakes but has a lot of new and interesting content. Lots of quality of life improvements.

cant wait for the group delusion of "the originals were better than this" to end

This might be the worst Pokemon game I've ever had the displeasure of playing. The only thing salvaging this game is the competitive scene, which is made better on Pokemon Showdown anyways.

Very fun to play but I get burnt out on it easily.
