This game has only gotten better after its first update, and I expect similar from future updates. There is so much and it is all executed incredibly well.

Tiny Rogues is excatly what its title emplies. It's a short and fast-paced action roguelike with visuals and simplicity borrowed from a long-gone era of retro gaming.

It keeps both its audiovisuals and gameplay simple while still delivering very satisfying and challenging runs. It might be simple but it offers a vast range of customization and accessibility to keep things interesting and replayable.

The game is still under development, however, it's in a very worthwhile state already. It's extremely cheap to boot so there's not much margin to complain.

I’ve just started playing this game and I can already tell it’s gonna be one of my favorite roguelikes. The RPG mechanics are very fun and the item variety is fantastic. Each of the characters offer their own twist, but I’d like to see more characters that fundamentally alter the gameplay in some way (maybe I just haven’t unlocked them yet). The meta progression is a nice touch and I like how you can disable them at any time if you want to increase your difficulty.

its a cool little game. Not too great . not bad so far

this game is amazing. the runs have the perfect length and its easy to learn. the only things i dont like are, that the upgrades are all way too cheap and after playing it for 8h i can say it gets repetetive after some time

this game is fun but it is also baby easy

EDIT: it becomes not baby easy later

While it begins to tap into that improvisational flow of the best action roguelikes, it falls apart at this point after the very short progression path is completed and after familiarity with the game betrays how unbalanced it is in its current state. I will absolutely check back in on it at release, but wouldn't play it again in 0.1.6.

Love the super simple art style, my rating will most likely change when the next update comes out, but I love the simplicity of the game and how many weapons and items there are already.

really solid rogue like, be sure to add the cinder modifiers to make the game more difficult because the base game is pretty easy

Really fun dungeon-crawler roguelike, 0.2.0 update is on the way, too!

A rogue like that takes "it's like dark souls" to heart. It's not really like dark souls but definitely souls inspired. Not nearly as frustratingly hard but with a similar stat and weapon progression system. The weapon variety is not as plentiful as it seems initially but the variety in bosses really make this game shine.

Very fun and good. Wears its inspirations on its sleeve. Gameplay is fast, the only way to go is forward.

It's fun.
But I beat it on my first run after the tutorial, 40 minutes.
Without taking any hits somehow, thanks to Evasion.
So I'm not interested in continuing with the meta-progression.
