The thing that Battle Clash and Metal Combat got right was that they just threw a bunch of cool stuff at you to shoot. So despite being on-rails, this is basically a non-stop assault of enemies that feel substanial rather than mowing down hundreds of mindless soldiers or robots as you would in a typical rail shooter. That said, it's still bound by the limits of this gameplay style so there's nothing too groundbreaking here beyond the good presentation and decent SuperScope controls.
