It’s not a perfect game by any stretch. I don’t even know why I like it so much. But this game made a huge impact on me. It’s just so… cool! It makes me want to do nothing but rollerblade every day until I can do the kind of stuff they do. It’s also partly responsible for my lack of education during the Covid years. Oh well!

its good just hard to control?

I went to Horrible Awful Controls Town and everyone was playing this game

JET SET RADIOOOO

This game is completely stellar in terms of style and funkiness, that is this game's identity. Rollerskating around Tokyo-To while cartoonishly over the top police try and subdue you. Hideki Naganuma is the goat and never misses, all the tracks he composed for this game are so iconic, the other tracks aren't that bad either though (I personally like Deavid Soul's contributions). The thing holding this game back however is that it's fairly janky, the physics are far from perfect and make the game fairly frustrating to play sometimes. When I finally get round to playing Future I'm sure I will be a lot happier with it since it's meant to fix these issues.

No I don't think you get it, I LOVE THIS GAME WITH ALL MY SOUL. It's true that the controls sucked sometimes but that doesn't change the fact that it's so good. Played it for the first time when I was a kid and finishing it made me the happiest

High score chasing games aren't usually my thing, but the game has such a bold aesthetic and incredible soundtrack that anyone can find something to love. The controls can sometimes be finnicky, but the level design is so good that I don't mind having to work around it to play more.

this game is such a vibe, music? check , aesthetic? check, infinitely cool ? check, horrific controls? CHECK.(also there's this weird bug that doesn't let you save so unless i speedrun this game and finish it in one sitting it will stay unfinished)
