I've always appreciated the UK microcomputer scene, but I've never really gotten into the games themselves - I think this is the first game I've played of this type that stands out to me! It's a shockingly effective gameplay loop - two guns, one vertical and one horizontal, you can shift the horizontal to be diagonal, but risk shooting the other gun when you do so - you have to take down a bunch of bugs and skeletons that look like the dog from Engie Benjy - a really interesting take on the vintage 80s shooter loop that, like a lot of those games, suffers from being a little repetitive and perhaps not as strategic as it should be. Looking forward to seeing more as I go through the Llamasoft collection.
