An adorable platformer with a fun difficulty curve generally, and then random spikes that are incredibly unfun. Ultimately you’re here for the aesthetics and the music and on both fronts the game succeeds.

Gorgeous art style with serviceable gameplay.

Love the style, really good boss fights, even if it is hard at times it pays off in the end

pretty fun platforming bullethell(?) (idk how else to describe it) game with extremely fun boss fights and beautiful visuals. I personally didnt have many difficulties with a lot of bosses. They took a lot of attempts sure but most of losses definitely felt like they were my own. The harder bosses took me about 3 hours at most, with the final boss fittingly being the hardest one for me.
The game only gives you few hitpoints per boss, so the margin for error is very slight. But the amount of options the game gives you in terms of accessories and shot types varies it up.
My personal gripes with the game is that, although the soundtrack is very fitting with the style of the game, i dont find it very memorable. It fits the mood but nothing more than that.
Also, this will sound like a weird complaint, but I would've liked if the bosses were given just a bit more story. While the animations do convey the personalities of the bosses well, considering how you're actively beating them up during these animations, they will obviously be skewed to being hostile. (and they have a right to be, considering you're the aggressor).
Atleast a prefight cutscene/cg with some dialogue lines would've sufficed. Since the only outside of combat appearance the majority bosses have is in the ending. While the few bosses that do get a cutscene are otherwise very memorable.
