Despite the gameplay issues, this mod is very good. It had me on the edge of my seat for many points in its story - specifically, the one for any of the Russian warlord states, and Germany.

This mod is a visual novel with grand strategy elements. It's really not a usual HoI4 mod where you conquer a lot of shit (unless you are unifying Russia.)
The alternative history this mod presents is extremely detailed and full of great ideas, quite possibly being the single most comprehensive and realistic outlook on a Nazi WW2 victory. However, the overall mod is held back by the limits of the HoI4 game engine and a team of developers that's constantly ablaze with drama and which retcon cool shit all the time.
What really elevates this mod is genuinely of the best soundtracks ever. I'm not sure how they managed to pull together enough talented people to make a HoI4 mod have better music than a lot of games, but it's impressive.
Overall if this was turned into a standalone game it would do really well, albeit I think the drama queens who run the project would murder each other over which Nazi war criminal should lead the hyperborean argentine reichskommissariat or whatever.

A really good hoi4 mod. One of my favourites, although the updates can be slow.
