Though a little clunky at times, Transformed is up there with the best kart racers, even surpassing some Mario Karts in my opinion. The transformation gimmick allows for creative track design, and the character lineup is really silly in the best way possible. The career mode is even playable in co-op, so like, y’know, heck yeah

Probably one of the best Mario Kart clones to date, what irks me is that the items are just generic kart game items when they could've used stuff like Rings or Puyos

Honestly an extremely solid racing game with very dynamic course design and a killer soundtrack. Very weird roster, in both good ways and bad. World Tour is great fun! Too many people dismiss this "just a Mario Kart knockoff", they have very very different design philosophies.
Despite being fairly old by now, there's little that has aged about this game. It could use some more polish, but if you like Sega, kart racers, or both, it's very unlikely you won't fall in love with it.

It’s a fun game. Not much more to say. I remember when this game was on mobile, such a fun time lol. Also the music is fucking amazing. 4/5 just because the music (and also the game too but whatever)

Only ever played this at a friend's house, but good racer and I'm sad Team Sonic Racing killed my SEGA reps.
This is a fantastic and amazing Racer with a stellar roster and references that I had a lot of fun doing the missions for. The tank battle, Battle, and Rival races are all my favorites. I mainlined Sonic, Shadow and Metal Sonic because of course I did. Honestly, this may be better to me than Mario Kart. It's that good.

Picked this up again a few years back, the game hadn't aged a day. Transformation mechanics are super fun, the roster is great if random (danica patrick?), the maps are super fun and varied, had a blast with this one.
Best fun racer imo. Have played it a lot with friends and will do so in the future. Love all the tracks and characters aswell. Story mode can be challenging at times and online multiplayer with friends works great. Just a great game

The first couple of races you'll have to get used to the controls/handling, after having played it I find that the game controls very well.
Customization isn't really big, but you can modify all you racers to make your favorite character suit your playstyle.
The stages are where it's at in this game! Super imaginative, with the tracks changing with each lap driven. From a volcano spewing debris to destroy parts of the road, to an aquarium slowly filling up with water!
Is it as good as Mario Kart? Of course not! Only Mario Kart is as good as Mario Kart.
But Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed does enough things differently to be fun in it's own way!

Tried grinding for achievements but ended up stopping because I think it didn't trigger the S-Rank License one, very frustrating. Otherwise my favorite kart racer.
