I'll never stop loving this game, been playing it for 10 years at least.
The game itself has very limited content and tools both in survival mode and creative mode. Survival mode pales in comparison to something like Terraria. Creative mode doesn't have a lot of tools. To go back to the Terraria example, as limited as it is, you can change the shape of blocks in that game. And it has many, many more decorative items that enhances building, even if it's a 2D game.
Minecraft becomes great/amazing because of what the COMMUNITY does with mods. Which is why I can't give it a good rating.

I go in and out of Minecraft phases, but I always come back for more and I don't think I'll ever stop. I bought this game in 6th grade and now I have a master's degree. Time is weird.

I, as do a lot of people, have a huge nostalgia feeling for Minecraft. Which is why I love this game so much. As of late, I still enjoy Minecraft. I will say, Mojang could add a little more things into the game.

One of the most impactful games that came out "recently" (compared to some classics from the 80s and 90s). I have so many memories with Minecraft. It's a game I always come back to.
I've spent so much time in this game over the years - it has such incredible potential for fun, especially when played with good friends :)
I bought this in 2015 or 2016 I think. Never really got into playing games with a keyboard so I have not touched this version a lot. It's a great game though, but I have no real experience to associate it with, so my score shall be in the middle.
C'est peut-être la nostalgie qui va parler à ma place mais selon moi, Minecraft est un jeu tout bonnement incroyable (je vais me faire taper dessus mais, incroyable jusqu'à la v1.12). Le fait de pouvoir survivre en se créant de A à Z son environnement, un mode créatif qui offre des millions de possibilités ou encore un mode multijoueur qui (à son prime) offrait des milliers d'autre possibilités : PvP, créatif, RP, mini-jeux et j'en passe... Je rêve d'un retour dans le passé pour revivre ça !
