This pack probably has the best buy mode catalog in the game so far, though build mode absolutely fumbles its shot at art deco. I was disappointed to learn that the active high school lot is limited to just Copperdale, but that's pretty easy to mod otherwise. Copperdale itself is meant to be reflective of small towns from teen dramas that carry deep secrets and mysteries, but this begins and ends with the aesthetic of the world; its residents have fairly typical lives, and there is no deeper lore to uncover. (Werewolves dropped a little over a month earlier and has a similar dark forest setting, I almost wonder if you're meant to combine the two to get the full effect? an expansion of an expansion?) The eerie and perpetual weird autumn vibe of the town does also mean that outings to Plumbob Pier often get cut short because everyone is freezing if you've got Seasons installed.

I enjoy the Thrift Store lot having exclusive and randomly-generated clothing, there's a much stronger incentive to visit it this way. The CAS in this pack is incredibly versatile and I greatly appreciate how good the colorways are this time around. The actual highschool active gameplay isn't anything groundbreaking, but it is enjoyable. Aside from wanting a little more depth to Copperdale, this pack successfully delivers on its premise and looks great doing it, too.
