Triangle Strategy is a cool game that unfortunately failed at accomplishing what it set out to do. You might be surprised by this review, since I was the first (or second?) person to write a guide for this game on the internet. The fact of the matter is that Triangle Strategy is shameless in how much it's trying to cater to Tactics Ogre fans but drops the ball in almost every way. The game is quite nice visually, and the soundtrack is neat, but it's mediocre when it comes to the plot, characters and gameplay. If you felt like the routes in Fire Emblem Three Houses were half-baked and short, then you're going to be in for a surprise with this one. I'm sure my opinion about the gameplay is a hot take, because Triangle Strategy does have a well fleshed out system going on, but it's simply barebones when you consider the depth of Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre LUCT. Play this if you want to play FFT or LUCT but don't have access to them and can deal with a slightly worse experience.
