The best sonic game, being the last exclusive sonic game to a Sega console, they put a lot of effort in this one.
The story is REALLY BOLD for a Sonic game, with themes like the MURDER OF CHILDREN, REVENGE AGAINST HUMANITY, EXECUTION OF OLD MAN, ARTIFICIAL GENE MANIPULATION TO CREATE LIFE FORMS, and so on.
The debut of Shadow and Rogue brought a new meaning for the different perspective mechanic of the sonic games, and the characters are really cool too.
The level design is better than the previous game, with more alternative ways and some of the most classic levels, and Pumpkin Hill.
Another high point of this game is the OST, like cmon, wont you brain just melt when sonic hits the ground and f**king escape from the city begins? I really like that they choose a diferent music style for each character, Sonic has Rock because he is cool, Knuckes has Rap because he is badass and Rogue has Jazz because she's a thief.
But I hate the bip bip sounds that eggman and tails robots make, they are too loud.
