Resident evil village tickled my survival horror fancy but I can’t help but still think about the difference in atmosphere compared to RE7. It was very fantasy, which is the complete opposite of the more grounded and realistic style I was used to. I didn’t mind it at all, but it did seem very inconsistent, especially since the story was continuing that of the last installment. The gameplay was pretty similar for the most part, but there was more emphasis on action this time around. 100% Recommend
