Call me a cynical wanker, but I knew I wasn't going to enjoy this the moment I heard the whimsical and slightly melancholic piano melody in the main menu.

Florence, aka Indie Game the Video Game. In Indie Game the Video Game, you chart the ups and downs of the titular character via a series of differing mini-games, all of which are intentionally simple and none of which are remotely engaging. The relationship, ergo the whole story, plays out exactly as you would expect it to. There are absolutely no surprises in the narrative here if you heard the piano music in the main menu.

It's an incredibly brief experience, which depending on how you look at things, might be the game's biggest strength.
