I think it’s a good game, but good lord it is far longer than it has any right to be. I feel like the entire portion of the game where you gain alliances (which is like 70% of the game) could have been glossed over in a cutscene. It was quite repetitive. You either kill someone or retrieve an object, rinse and repeat. I also don’t like that majority of the game takes place in England. Norway felt much more Viking to me.

There were good moments, but Valhalla suffers from the same sort of problems that Origins and Odyssey had. Assassins creed shouldn’t be a Witcher or Skyrim style open world rpg. The series really plummeted in quality after Black Flag. I hope it can recover.
