Bit of a mess story wise for me and I found it so hard to actually care about anything that was going on, which is a shame after how much I loves Miles (2020) but it's obviously still really good. Some story moments still do hit, even if I don't love the whole thing. There really is just way too much going on imo.

Not even really worth talking about gameplay here because it's basically just better in every way. Everything you liked is back + better, and everything you didn't like is also back + better. The new combat abilities are just super satisfying.

Decided after playing this that Insomniac are officially the master's of game feel. I have no clue how they can include so many cool and experimental ways of using a controller to manipulate visual's and audio on your TV and make every one of these feel so incredible.

I know we're all excited about Wolverine but honestly I wouldn't be opposed if they splintered off a group to make some type of music game, a game about making art, but most importantly, I need them to make a puzzle game. I don't even mean like Portal or whatever, just a grid based puzzle game, 1h30 long and stick it up on the store for a tenner. I know a lot of the mainstream hate them in these games, but (other than that last post-game one) the puzzles in this are just so fun to play around with.

Everything Insomniac does is just so satisfying. Right now I feel quite down on this because imo these games are so bloated and Miles is quite honestly an almost perfect game, and this almost feels like a step back in so many ways. But honestly I've been pretty down on this whole year in general so even though I'm not as in love with it as everyone else, this is undoubtedly my (AAA) GOTY so far.
