From a presentation standpoint this is a top-notch Ghibli movie, from a gameplay standpoint it's a decent RPG that feels rough in many places. The ally A.I. during combat isn't very cooperative, and a lot of the side content is typical JRPG fetch quests. All in all this has some of the best art direction in any video game, but gameplay needed more work.
