One of the best Metroidvanias I've ever played! The movement is very satisfying, deep, and intersects with the combat in all kinds of fun ways. All of the upgrades and weapons are unique and always useful, with even most of the optional stuff being things you really want. Great bosses and a unique, interesting story. The map is full of diverse areas both thematically and mechanically. While some other Metroidvanias have better constructed maps on a macro level, this is the best I've come across on a room-by-room basis. Most screen have navigation challenges with a quality you'd expect in a game dedicated to platforming like Celeste, ones that really get the most out of your moveset, test your skills, and challenge your mind. Then when you include all the great ways combat is utilized, the moment-to-moment gameplay is always so fun.
