This game is insane. Never played it before, went into it blind on critical mode basically immediately after finishing KH1 and I loved it. Immediately shot up to a top 10 game of mine. I love the combat, the bosses, the story, the worlds are improved over KH1 imo, and even the music is better. I enjoyed the lengthy Roxas intro a lot as well. GOATed game.

Playing KH2FM on critical is such a rewarding, enjoyable experience. While many will claim that Re:Mind is better, nothing can top the fluid, satisfying gameplay that Sora moves as he's fighting, particularly in the Data Battles and Lingering Will. It's probably the most balanced critical mode in the entire series. It's daunting at first, but once you unlock more abilities it's so much fun and I can never play it on lower difficulties. The story is classic, and it's so nice to see someone enjoy the Roxas intro. I've always loved the intro.

...well, since Roxas is my favorite character, I'm probably biased, lmao.
