Ok, i probably would appreciate this DLC as being a really neat extra boss pack, but i expected a bit more. Sadly, this game is not a PROPER prequel which aims to solve some of Ray Bibbia's backstory but a silly backstory where you inspect a mysterious village in a somewhat strange parody of Bram Stoker's Dracula which also mocks some of the trends that overwhelmed the world, such as the COVID-19 disease and the rather bothersome NFTs. As usual, the game parodies few classic literature and historical characters such as Galileo Galilei and Count Dracula, in a rather silly manner. With a silly surprise in the game's ending.

For the bosses, i appreciate the inclusion of unique mechanics in each boss. Tough enough, but REALLY short as it includes 3 stages/bosses, except you don't have the possibility of using trinkets and not even refacing them as tough versions of the bosses, which HOWEVER worsens the replayability for this particular DLC (so basically only the base game has stronger versions of every boss you've faced.).

If you're looking for some extra challenge with only few new bosses you could buy the DLC and experience a silly story, but don't expect much more thinking you would finally get some of Ray Bibbia's backstory holes filled.
