Atomic Hearts, starts strong then sadly drops down due to the level design once you leave the first facility.
As many reviews have said this game is extremely fun almost borderline on par with OG Bioshock style level design when it is focused in the narrow horror theme designs, but once you get to the open world you stagger quickly and notice a lot of terrible and boring open world. My play time with the game was almost 16hrs with no open world side tracking as the map is just as bad if not worse than the SW: Jedi fallen order map. No real incentive to do any side objectives. I just streamlined the main story and found it quite enjoyable.

Story was quite "MEH" it has a good idea and just executes it poorly. The few twists in the game are somewhat predictable. The main character "P3" his dialogue is absolutely terrible and makes him unlikable. Side characters are also quite boring. As a narrative whole it falls flat.

What this game makes up for and is quite enjoyable is the combat, very good enemy design they all varied and looked creepy and beautiful at the same time, and I enjoyed all fight encounters.

Graphics are top notice and, on my PC, I had no issues.

Music by Mick Gordon is heavenly good, and I want to hear him in everything.

if the story was better and the game as a whole focused more on the linear more closed in style instead of an open world this game would have been a whole lot better.
