In terms of horror this's RE at it's best(The Remakes specifically) and so far nothing has topped it in that aspect. Only wish the A/B scenarios felt a bit different from each other since by the B route it did feel pretty sameish and that's what held the game back from me giving it a full 5/5 but having said that I still really enjoyed it. Mr. X was terrifying and I still felt scared of him in my replays of this game.
