What a remarkable experience.

Disco Elysium is an one-of-a-kind game. The story and the characters are so well written that you can get lost in this world the game presents to you. It's one of the longest games I've played this year, but it sure didn't feel like it. Every interaction I've had with the characters felt meaningful and brought up something interesting or funny that made me want to play this game even more.

I can't put into words how giddy I was when I saw the fucking Insulidian Phasmid by the end of the game. That part alone made me feel rewarded for all the time I put into the game.

If you like discussing or reading about politics, you'll have a great time with this game. It's fascinating, and I can't wrap my head around the fact that it was possible for human beings to come up with a great game like Disco Elysium.

This is the kind of game that makes me feel that I'm not wasting my time at all with gaming as a hobby. It's truly magnificent.

It's funny how this game has so many highlights, but the thing that has stuck with me the most was the "Something beautiful is going to happen" phrase. Being able to choose to paint that phrase in Martinaise, having in mind that chaos that you can feel brewing there, just made me feel hopeful, not only about what could happen in the game, but also about life. It's definitely going to stick with me for a long while.
