Somehow, my expectations of "Pong, but on Mac" were too high.
The ball's velocity can get uncontrollably high as the Computer handles a wildly bouncing ball just fine, but becomes nearly impossible for a human player to handle. And the scoring mechanic is based on Volleyball for some strange reason, (only the server can score a point) making it so the only reasonable way to secure victory is to quickly and decisively snowball points.
Hit registration is pretty rough too, lot of times the paddle feels like it's on the ball, but it doesn't hit? It sucks. Sound effects are cute, and the You Lost/You Win screens are fun. That's it. It's just a worse Pong.
