Boring gameplay broken up by much more boring cutscenes... I guess I just don't get it. I've beaten the mission where you have to steal the thing from the enemy camp, and the game has really not gripped me. I am dreading the idea of doing more stranding just to see if there is anything to the story.

Once you get more equipment, the middle half of the game is pretty fun in a satisfying repetitive way. Everything else about the game though....I wish I hadn't wasted my time. You can watch as many 2 hour story explainers on youtube as you want, but you'll still feel like kojimbo made a fool out of you for caring.

@rundeer Honestly, I feel like the fact that I still felt like I was playing a tutorial is part of the issue for me. I recognise that the game probably still hadn't 'opened up', but after seeing what the stealth action gameplay was like, I realised that there wasn't really anything I was looking forward to in the game at all.
