The first episode is alright. While it does improve on Quake in a similar manner to SoA (more weapon, enemy, and environment variety), map layout and design lacks a closer understanding of the game itself, creating a pretty basic game experience.

The second episode, by contrast, is awful. Almost every level is an long, switch-hunty slog with no breaks. All of the maps feel extremely cramped and stuffed exclusively with fast, close-quarters tanks that shred in the extremely tight maps. Also, 3 or 4 of the map BGMs had a really high pitch ringing noise in them that just drove me mad.
