I played through the first arc that the game had global. I think that the game had good character writers who understood the characters they were working with and leaned into the crossover-nature of the game to get interesting interactions and dynamics. I sure wish some other mobile crossover game of a certain longstanding strategy series that's 17 or so games deep would do the same. . . ya know, hypothetically.
