absolutely wonderful of a game, 3d animations are great, the writing (especially ryunosuke’s development) is SO GOOD and i feel like his character growth is much more well done than phoenix’s.
also the characters are just amazing like. Herlock Sholmes??????? Ridiculous name. god tier of a character though. he will make you go insane
but, the ending of dgs 2 is just.. bad. after i finished the game i was crying but also just really confused about whatever the hell happened ??? but either way, don’t let that deter you bc other than that god awful ending, the other aspects of this game are great!!!!!! and who knows, maybe you’ll like the ending :-)
in conclusion. Play it for kazuma and sholmes 10/10
