4 stars seem like a lot for such an old game, but I'm including the multiplayer
quake really holds up today for what it is; a medium paced shooter that relies on tense atmospheres and surprises to make you feel like a little baby. my biggest complaint is the lack of enemy types and simplistic shooter elements, but it's to be expected. convince 1 other person to dm with you and go bonkers.
