mid i guess.

that doesn't encompass all of my thoughts, but it's pretty resounding. i liked relaxing and catching pokemon, but its not like, to die for. the plot was a massive nothing sandwich, the characters weren't that memorable... i liked the boss battles, but that's really only because they resembled games that i actually like, rather than be interesting on their own. i'd be hard pressed to say that they're perfectly designed, with how clunky they are.

there's not a lot i feel like i could improve with this game, just because the concept was pretty middling. a good story could have improved the game, but it still wouldn't have drawn me to it.

giving this game a resounding "not for me"
