Yeah Psychopomp is a 3d dungeon crawler but without anything like levels or experience you play as a girl(?)thing that makes a helmet that lets them indulge and seek out all the shit that scratches they anxieties and quest to do.. SOMETHING in the hidden twistedness that is underground the city..
its a very specific kind of weird! Like having a sort of offhanded cynicism and humor that i found actually landin pretty well considering that you can just up and kill practically anything in this game barring some constructs and selective NPCs with a big Fuck You fucking hammer ig
With this in hand as a walking delete button for stationary creatures... you kinda organically have it click that this is more of a horror game in the means that its trying to have you unsettled and tripped up by shit rather than something thats going to test your resource management or a damning consequence for getting hit or dying other than loss of progress itself </3
The vibes are pretty nice and I think the only thing I disliked about it was just how Id either kinda get lost or because id just be confused, but thats alright
It's a (could be.. but a couple bucks does help out the dev) free game that you can knock out in like an hour or.. if youre like me 2 hours LMAO
That ending chapter sure is cool..
I cant really say much on that though since the story is about a footnote and in such a short time ill let YOU piece some shit rlly cause it aint tht deep anyways and by the time you finished reading this on this site you probably couldve already been beatin that tutorial
final thoughts: childrens hospitals DO smell that fucking weird huh? why is the thought of that so unsettling and true
