This game was a chore to finish. I had high hopes when they announced a "return to form" for Assassins Creed. This game helped me realize I may have outgrown the series as a whole.

Even in this paired back version of a modern Assassin's game, there is still too much bloat. Bloated menus, environments, cutscenes, and enemy encounters. I didn't find any of the characters particularly interesting and I found myself skipping cutscenes after 4 hours or so or trying my best to get invested in the story.

This was a decent rental title. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it.
