The game was weird as hell. What a trippy ride. As far as the game play goes, this was a lot of fun to play. The gun-play/melee play can be really rewarding once you get a couple of upgrades in. World exploration was a lot of fun as well. Enemy design was super unique.

The story was... hard to keep up with. It was hard to stay invested in what the game presents to you. I'm guessing there's more there that I'd really enjoy. However, the main character and his delivery is so unlikable it makes it really difficult to swallow everything the game is throwing at you.
